Replacement quick release pin for 1447 or 1450 bracelet?

I am looking for a replacement of this pin in the event my existing one gets damaged or lost. Does anyone know the part number and whether it's available for purchase from Ofrei or similar sources? Has anyone found a substitute for this pin? I hate the thought of hinging the wearability of my favorite watch/bracelet combo on this single vulnerable part. TYIA

Holy crap, I didn't even know my 1450 had one of those until just now. Given the rarity of the bracelet, I think it's unlikely you'll find just the pin for sale. The bracelets themselves come up rarely on eBay: one each in 2012, 2013 and 2016. Otto Frei doesn't have the 1450 or parts for it. I'd recommend just getting a solid pin of the right size if you're worried about the robustness of this one.

If you look carefully at the pin's quality of construction, it is not extremely robust, and it is actually the most fragile part of this amazing bracelet. I don't care whether a replacement is OEM; merely any suitable replacement would be good enough for me.

One spring bar is listed for the bracelet, but it's not 100% clear if this is the one you are after, but anyway the part number is 068ST5307. It usually gives the quantity of spring bars required if it's more than one, and this one doesn't indicate that more than one are required, so it may very well be the one you need.

This type of spring bar is used in other applications with Omega, and I bought a similar style not long ago from Omega for a Geneve bracelet...

@Archer Wow, thanks! This might be exactly what I need. Do you happen to know the length of this bar?

They don't give such information, so all I have is the part number...

Been down this road before. Took a 1450 to Swatch repair center in Toronto, and they put in a new friction fit pin.

Thanks, Oddboy. I was hoping to preserve the quick release functionality, even with a different non-OEM pin.

because of rough fit, the tip of the pin juggles in the hole and the end become bended. this is the start of the end. , I fixed it in the connector and it become more stable.

Anyone confirmed the part number for it or if the Amazon one works?

For those who are trying to find a solution for a broken or missing quick release pin, I ordered from Esslinger their 1.5 MM pin (Watch Band Pin 1.5 mm Thick Steel Quick Release Pegged Spring Bar, SKU: 82.5115 for $2.95) in 11 mm length and made it work. (First purchased the 10 mm and it is a bit too short; had to work a bit with my dremel to make it fit, but easy enough)

Think this will work with the 1479 as well?

I haven’t seen a 1479 bracelet with the notch for the quick release pin (have only see them on 1447 and 1450 bracelets); have you seen a 1479 with it? Here is the assembly on my 1450/808

Good idea, especially to save the original one.
The Problem of the original is, the tips struggle in the outer openings. faulty design I tried to solve most of the mobillity with some plastic filling of the outer ends.
This do stop the moving of the tip. When I can use a replacement, this will protect the original piece.

Hi guys, do you have any update on this subject? Did anyone order the part @Archer recommended (sort of)? It seems more options are now availabe on Ebay, but if the Omega part is really the correct one, that might be a perfect solution.

The problem with reference 068ST5307 at the moment, is that it's listed at Swiss Spare Parts as a clasp springbar. So where the other part of the bracelet attached to the microadjustment holes of the clasp. It's not a quick release springbar.

Is that a photo of the actual part, or just a generic spring bar photos they use?

Thanks for replying! Your guess is as good as mine, but by the look of things it seems they are using a generic photo (how stupid is that). Guess I will have to message them. But the 1469/1479 clasp doesn't use a quick release springbar.
