    MVIMG_20181228_155618.jpg Dear all,

I just bought this Speedmaster, and the reset pusher is extremely spongy and it doesn't reset the hour subdial (also, it doesn't click). It also looses about 14 seconds a day. Who do you think I should go to and what do you think a fair service and repair cost should be? I live in Singapore

    Thank you!

You are not asking the right question. The question is not how much, but whom shall I ask to provide me with this service. I am sure that you will be given recommendations shortly.

    PS nice watch!

Check out Horolab or JW Horological. The wait time for the latter was six months when I was there in October.

Good luck with JW. They are awesome, great and professional however their backlog is 2 years (maybe they are just saying that to not work on my 1-69 Microtor =(

How's Horolab? I read the reviews online once, it was generally favorable but there are some bad reviews.

I Know someone who sent in a rolex bubbleback that was "Unrepairable" according to RSC, they got it re-dialled, case polished, & he gets parts made if they are unavailable. They were happy with the results.

I walked in with a very basic time only watch that just needed a service, ( i had it serviced by someone else about 4 years prior) ,he obviously didn't want to do it as i saw him gesticulating to the shop manager through the workshop glass. The manager came out & told me a service would cost $2000. Just a service, not a restoration.

So very mixed reviews. Personally, based on my experience, i would never recommend him to anyone.

Any of the watchmakers mentioned earlier in this thread should work.
