Repainted Dial?

Hey everyone.

The seller indicated this is a CK14381 and that the dial is original, untouched. I think it's been repainted because I thought the broken crosshair didn't exist on the earlier models, but I'm wondering what you guys think.

You are completely correct. There are loads of other tells, but the broken crosshair is a really good one.

@RIP also note the missing lume on the dial and how they printed pie-pan-style second ticks on a dome dial. Two more tells.

Good catch. In addition to the tells pointed out by @MtV , if you look at the thickness of the letters in the script you'll notice that they are inconsistent, the minute track is likewise poorly executed.
