·I tried Scotch-Brite [green] for the first time today on the scratched clasp of my 7912 bracelet. I forgot to take a “before” pic...sorry about that. Anyway, I utilized brown plastic packing tape to mask the polished surfaces and fabricated a stabilized straightedge device to obtain straight brushed lines on the clasp. I thought it went fairly well...but you can still see some remnants of the deeper scratches as indicated by the red arrows in the first pic below...
