Hi guys,
I was watching a sale today waiting for the SMP AC that I have been looking to get for years and this came up. I saw the honeycomb and all of a sudden my finger was left clicking lol. It looked ok to my eyes but that sometimes means bad things (see my Boluva Jaguar A post). How did I do?

watch looks original, answer depends on how much clicking your finger did!

HaHa! You're right of course! Did I do ok at 300 euros? I didn't think I could go too far wrong as I was shipping the SMP regardless.

The movement is ok, the dial is ok, there is something wrong in them. Congratulations!!

Upon further research, I am wondering if this dial while being correct and not a redial is in the correct case? I have not been able to locate any images of this Ref. with this dial, only the sub dial rather than the "crosshairs present here. I would welcome any input or links to examples!

Just google the reference I see lots of similar style dials with similar crosshairs for sub seconds.

It's not the "2750" that has me confused it's the "-3" part. I have googled (Bing) the ref and I didn't come up with that exact combo with the honeycomb/crosshair dial. So, I guess I would like info on what denotes the case/dial/index combination in these older Ref's. I had seen info on the letter codes on vintage pieces.

the -3 part does not identify the exact dial. So many dial combinations were used its very hard to know from the reference number which really identifies the case, not the dial.

Got it! Thanks very much! I just wanted to rule out a "Franken watch".

It arrived in the mail today and I'm ecstatic!
I shot a couple pics in the car having just opened the box...

And after a little polywatch action...

Looks gorgeous, nice score!
Thanks a lot! I think it might be a better addition than the AC that I have lusted after for years!

Looks good, maybe with a quick crystal polish it will look even better.

The -3 refers to a production batch I think. Not related to dial style indeed.
