Hi all, after a couple of unexpected additions something else has to leave, so I decided to part with my Eberhard Extra-Fort 18kt golden chronograph from the 50s.

I got this watch from a local collector in July '22 and since then, after a full service, I wore it no more than 15/20 times.

The queen of the party here is the case, a huge 39mm yellow gold excluded crown that makes this watch very nice and contemporary to wear. It looks untouched to me, pushers are in great conditions, signed crown is a later replacement. Inside the signed snap back the engraved serial case number is fully readable and dates back to early 50s. Lug width 20mm.

Original dial in nice conditions, with a quite even and warm creamish patina. Everything is fully readable. Original hands set in nice conditions.

Valjoux-based caliber 16000 was fully serviced by my trusty watchmaker in september '23 and works fine. As many of you for sure know, on these the lower pusher works as a slider that stops and starts the sweep second when the chronograph is running, without resetting.

Watch comes on an almost new genuine crocodile dark grey strap and an original, probably later, Eberhard buckle.

Please ask me via pm for any doubt about the watch. I will reply as fast as possible.

Watch and me are located in Rome, Italy. Given conditions and service I'm asking 2300 (was 2550 and 2450) euros shipped and ensured everywhere within EU. Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Payment via bank wire strongly preferred, a face to face in Rome is possible.

I have some good feedbacks so far on OF at the following links both as buyer and seller, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay can be provided if needed:

Before posting some pics -actually almost all of them taken just today- thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.
