Aquariusmatic
·Hi,
Up for sale as I'm cleaning up my collection is this - in my opinion rareish Golana Automatic with a Compressor styled case. ( Didn't find the brevet # but IMO it is a Compressor case as i have a Marvin with the same exact case and snap back that is marked with the brevet and #)
Watch has been purchased from its original owner who bought it in Milan Italy way way way back. From the looks of it never polished with original crystal.
The automatic movement is an A.Schild 1749 that winds up and holds good time, power reserve was more than a day but not tested. I can hear the rotor whizzing and spinning around inside and there could be a rub evident but i am not sure if that is how the 1748/49 movement should sound as this is the only one in my possession.
Service history unknown - I'd recommend a service if intended for wear.
Case usual wear marks, sharp edges - IMO not polished.
Case Back - Beautiful with the engraving crisp and deep.
Plexi - has scuffs and scratches I would not replace it but polish it if you so wish (I can do that for you at my watchmaker prior to shipping).
Dial - no moisture damage but has marks from what I'd expect is the hand removal tool - will be shown in photos.
Bezel - beautiful
I don't touch up any of my vintage pieces. If you wish to have it polished or serviced after the purchase do let me know cosmetics are free at my watchmaker, service is 30-50€ turnaround is one week.
NOW 50€ + Shipping ( EU 10-20€ World Wide - We split the costs)
Payment PayPal or Transferwise.
Feedback:
Can provide Chrono24 transaction history and ebay account per request.
