Hi OF

Another attempt to consolidate.

I learnt to appreciate the Eterna brand through OF, particularly the Eterna-Matic thread here. The my main focus of collecting is on Omega, I've got a small sub-collection of Eternas in the meanwhile. The one for sale is the first one I bought in late 2020 and my second serious vintage watch. It was my daily beater for quite some time until my collection exploded and I developed a strong aversion towards watches with date function. For this reason it has been sitting unworn in my drawer for quite a while. High time it finds a new wrist.

The watch and condition

Model: Eterna-Matic 3000
Reference: 146T
Movement: Caliber 1466U. It is an automatic movement with date display and quick date set function. The serial number of the movement (5134xxx) dates it to about 1965. The movement was professionally overhauled in January 2021 at Jenni Watches in Zurich for CHF 420 and therefore runs perfectly. The original service receipt will be enclosed.
Case: Strong case with clearly visible sharp facets on bezel and lugs. Unfortunately there are some old case opening marks on the back.
Dial: Very well preserved dial. All scratches are on the crystal and not on the dial. The hands may have been relumed. There is a piece of dust fluff floating on the dial. In the pictures with the black background it's in the center-right. While writing this ad, I noticed it's now below the 1 hour marker. There is also some speck of dust hanging on the hour marker, which you however only see under a strong magnifying glass. I took a macro picture to show.
Crystal: Original Eterna-signed plexiglass (see Eterna logo in the center of the glass).
Crown: At service, the original crown was replaced with a waterproof generic replacement crown. The original crown will be included, of course.
Dimensions: 34mm diameter without crown, 18mm lug width. Very thin 7.5mm, which fits under every sleeve.
Accessories: Attached green teju lizard strap by Rios. Other potential strap options for oversees buyers to avoid a hassle at customs.

Terms of trade
I find it challenging to price this one. My total outlays were over CHF 650, but I cannot expect to recoup all my costs. So I'm asking CHF 350 (was CHF 450) plus shipping. No returns unless grossly misrepresented. The watch is located in Switzerland. I have a few reviews here as both buyer and seller.

Thanks OF for the space!
