·Unique find due to the condition and the fact that this one comes complete with box and papers. Iconic bauhaus design from the hand of Max Bill.
The watch is in beautiful condition. I have not yet seen a better example. Dial is as good as perfect. Imperfections on the pictures are specs of dust or light scratches in the crystal. Lume is original. The plated case shows slight scratches and some small dents, but nothing that really catches the eye. Slight wear on the outer tips of the lugs (as almost always with vintage plated watches) and on the sides of the thin case. According to me the crown is original. It has an inscription on the back as it was offered as a gift by a German bank to the original owner after 60 years of client loyalty.
Service-history is not known, but the inhouse 83/E movement looks good and it runs fine.
Diameter is approx 36 to 36.5mm crown excluded. Wears very big.
The watch is offered head-only.
