Here we have a beautiful 1944 Omega 30T2.

Dial: As you can see the two-tone dial is in generally good shape with an attractive patina. Depending on the angle it is observed and the lighting conditions, the dial looks slightly different and makes for quite a dynamic experience. The numerals at 2,4,8,10 and 12 are Roman numerals, which make this a rare example of Omega's classic scientific dial that is more often found on the super rare chronometres. There are a couple of speckles around the dial, but the condition is pretty good, apart from a slight greening of the area near 3 O'clock. I think it is still nonetheless a great example of the classic time only Omega's of the 1940s.

Case: The case measures 35mm in diameter excluding the crown. It's a great size for a watch from this era and wears very nicely on the wrist. This is one of the larger of the examples of the Omega's from this era, making it a great choice for the modern gentleman.
The case is sharp and appears to be unpolished, all corners are sharp and bevels in tact, whilst many watches of this age have misshaped lugs through polishing these are the original shape as pictured. There are a few scratches and marks associated with years of wear, but overall it is in good condition.

Movement: This watch has been in my possession for around a year and it is running well however I have not tested for accuracy. It has not been serviced during my ownership so I recommend that the buyer has the watch serviced, although this is of course up to your discretion.

Strap: This case fits 18mm wide straps and will be supplied on a genuine leather strap from my collection of the buyers choosing. The pictured strap will not be included.

Box / Papers: There are no box and papers.

Price: Was £750 + £50 insured worldwide shipping with FEDex. Now £500 all in

Please observe all photos and the description with care as I offer no returns.

I really like that nice honest watch, quite some time on it, love that second subdial. I’m seeing so many nice things here recently, this, the Ball, some oris. I got one pending purchase that looks like it’s going to happen now it’s very difficult being a watch lover so many wants of something I actuality I have no need for.

love that second subdial.

I second this. These oversized sub-dials are not common, and reflect a period during which pocket watches (often with large sub-dials) were still being used, while wristwatches were relentlessly increasing market share.
