Don't think I've ever seen a better opportunity to display my wares! My first Omega is a Seamaster 2849, with a cal 503, on beads of rice (I know, not accurate for the era). Bought it off a bricks-and-mortar dealer, about 5 years ago, when I was just after a new watch, and liked the idea of a vintage piece. At the time I wasn't thinking about collecting, and thus didn't ask any questions. I've since found out that the dial is a modern factory replacement, which is bugging me. I got the collecting but about 6 months ago, and since then I've picked up - a Seamster 2757, with a bump cal 355. Original black dial - an Omega 2328, with a square/rectangle cal R17.8 (this is the movement photo I have included. The photo is pre-service, so it looks better now). And of course, yesterday I picked up this 2582 with cal 351 (http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewitem?itemId=160879901344) off the bay. This model was the forerunner of ref.CK2635 which became the first Seamaster in the same case.
