Hello all. First, my apologies-- this thread isn't about Speedmasters. ::bleh:: I picked this watch up cheaply (a bill). It was difficult to tell from pictures but I thought the dial was original. Now I'm even more confused. Up close the Omega logo sports raised ink as can be seen in the macro shot. However, there is no "Swiss" or "Swiss Made" on the dial. Is it after all a redial, or is missing the Swiss designation acceptable for this era of watch (approx 1952)? The hands are original I believe. Not sure about the crown. I plan on having the hands reaffixed and just flipping it to go toward the watch fund. Thanks for the help.

    The case is very sharp and unpolished. 0120171956.jpg 0120171958_HDR.jpg 0120171957a.jpg 0120172001.jpg 0120172002.jpg 0120172004_HDR.jpg

Pretty sure it is a redial - the printed logo is wrong. Maybe not a bad job from a technical point a view - indeed the print looks precise - but the font is wrong (too much space between the letters).

The hands could be original but hard to tell when they are not put on the watch with the correct dial.

The case looks OK but seems worn - not a red flag thought, but the dial is to me!
