I stopped in the neighborhood watch shop and crazy owner said he thought this watch was a redial and that the hands should be yellow by now and dial faded. I told him he was wrong and the reason the watch was in such nice condition is because it has been sitting in a safe for the past 25 years, which is true, but I have no idea what was done before that. He might be right, but I wasn't going to give in without checking with true Omega experts.

As usual, any info is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Dane

Looks just fine to me, just a lovely well preserved original watch.

Thank you so much for your seal of approval! Also want to thank you again for explaining "service dial" to me the other day. I definitely owe you a steak dinner!
