Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the red/orange case that comes with the nato strap and tool?.

Without buying the strap set... I hear the wheels turning from here.😁

Bought one from eBay, paid 40€ with the bracelet changing tool and a black tube with two springbars.

Edit: Maybe it´s worth waiting for such an offer

I bought my NATO full price from OMEGA Greece and it came alone. When i emailed them if i could get the case and accessories since i already paid the full price for the NATO they requested 80euros (90$) for them.

Crazy.

If you are not using a peli case, I can't think of anything better? I keep lots of watches in these cases.
What I don't like about it is, it's just some two-cent square foam inside that your watch wraps around, and I can't put any of my watches not on a steel bracelet in them because the foam doesn't take up enough space to hold the shape of a strap properly, which I can see will lead to the strap getting misshapen. But hey, these are freebies the service centers give out after a service, so I have no complaints in principle. I could make one work for a steel watch while traveling but I would only carry it on me inside a jacket pocket. Definitely wouldn't put it in my carry-on bag.

You are over thinking\worrying too much, at this rate you won't be able to leave the house without worrying.

You've read WAYYYYYYY too much into anything I've said. I've merely pointed out that these freebie cases aren't high quality, they have some obvious weaknesses, and aren't something I'd use much for actual traveling or for every watch. Not everyone on here has held one in their hands, so it might be useful to them to know what the cases are really like. You want to get one and rely on it, knock yourself out. I couldn't care less.

You seem to be making the point that the Omega service cases, the ones that Omega use and have trusted for quite some time to transport watches back after a service are not good enough for you, sounds a bit OCD\OTT.
