Hi, does anyone know if you can buy the red travel / service cases from Omega directly (in UK)? I've seen some on Ebay but wondered if Omega sell them.

Try to send an email to Omega's customer service and ask for it. Worth to try. They might send you one

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the red/orange case that comes with the nato strap and tool?.

I phoned Omega in Southampton & asked nicely - they sent me one FOC (even ordered it from Switzerland for me).

 

Omega uses these to return serviced timepieces...

 

Not the one I am referring too (in the pic above). Just got my Speedmaster back from Bienne and it came in the more common red case (below).

 

I picked up 2 on ebay for $12 delivered! Advertised as sunglasses case.

I’ve got three or four of those cases. They’re super cheap, I wouldn’t really use one for carrying watches very far, like on vacation or whatever.

 

For you super cautious types out there who don't trust Omega's service case, you can always double up with a hard case on top just to be super safe.

 

If you are not using a peli case, I can't think of anything better? I keep lots of watches in these cases.

 

As I've always said, when it doubt double bag it.
