I am Austrian but close enough to protect them as Wachmeisterin is located in Switzerland. I just found a possible explenation on another watch on the bay see the dial and inscription at 6 : http://www.ebay.at/itm/291067956556?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Belongs in the "Not Recommended" thread. Redialed, rusty cal 133.8 slapped into some random diver case with hands from who knows where, not even a sweep second hand. We've seen it before from the same seller:

Perhaps we're all hoping no one else sees this, or it is so sought after that it is bad form to even speak of it...but here goes...

If you're not bidding, what's your prediction on final sale price for this one? Wrong movement (Cal 400?), case looks pretty rough - especially edge between lower lugs (quite a wave there?)...basically buying a dial and hands?

Too bad about the service movement and the polished/deformed bevel. The hands and dial are good.

Good call. Congrats to the 1-feedback bidder who came away with it at $5787. Wonder if we'll see it again...

If that 1-feedback is the shill, that takes the cake for greed. $5,687 (1,000+ feedback from that bidder so assuming it was a legit bid) wasn't good enough for a not mint condition franken?

I guess if it comes up again in the near-term, that was definitely the case. Absurd indeed.

My guess is that there will be a second chance offer or a new listing with a BIN of $5700. I hope the second place bidder - if he gets a second-chance offer - refuses to pay more than one increment above the third-place guy.
