Hi all I'm looking for a bit of advice regarding buying a new omega in London I've previously bought from omega boutiques which were fine but this time I'm looking at having a deal the rrp hurts lol Can anyone recommend a good seller? Thanks
Hi fitter and welcome! I'm a retired pipecoverer and spent my career making your work look good! (joke) My interest is vintage and I'm a Yank, so about all I can do is give you a warm welcome. Good luck!
Thanks for the welcome..been reading the posts on here for a while now ,definitely some great reading
Can't help you with London, but I found I could negotiate a 15% discount at Beaverbrooks in York when paying cash.
I live close to york when in the UK! I bought my very first watch from there 20 years ago, it was a GUCCI G watch. Obviously i thought it was the nuts! Still have it though as i bought it for my sisters wedding.
HI all, I've had a few dealings with Churchill & Wolff, wholly satisfied with the service. Would recommend. http://omegaforums.net/threads/internet-purchases.16510/#post-179398 Check out this thread.
I've had offers from most of the high street AD's - Goldsmiths, Ernest Jones and Fraser Hart - when asking for a discount. A bit naughty really, as I only wanted a comparison for the AD I actually used, not in London I should add, who did very good deals on my DSOTM and PO. Just ask and wait for an offer you find acceptable. Didn't know the Boutiques in London didn't do a deal? I'm in Thailand and in Bangkok, they always (there are several) start with a 10% discount.
