Looking to pick up some Omega reference materials in 2016, and wanted to gather advice from the brains of this outfit... that would be you lot. Two top choices seem to be Moonwatch Only, and A Journey in Time. Is "The Master of Omega" worth spending cash on... and is there anything else that should be added to the reading list? Help me to stop asking so many dumb questions in the year ahead.
For speedmasters, nothing beats MWO and speedmaster101.com. AJTT is nice to have. A lot of eye candy and a good basic reference, but doesn't go very deep in most cases. I haven't tried any other omega reference books.
You might consider your more pressing needs before these not cheap books. Judging by your new avatar, I would suggest one of these first. Just a thought
So you're saying I should upgrade my drinking apparel right? I'm the guardian of the UK version of our company mascot... but too tall to fit in... sad times... or maybe not given that the feet weigh 2 kilos each.
What's with the affiliate leads branding? I do classy marketing... The kind with bacon sandwiches... Oh I see... That's the booth in the background... Not us. The Dinosaur is called SpiceRex, and he's the mascot of Spiceworks... We're like this site but for IT people.
Omega specifically... A journey through time is a nice window shopping book from my perspective... but the price is a little eye watering. Moonwatch Only, I might hold off on... it looks awesome, but I don't think I'm likely to become a collector of those any time soon. The Master of Omega looks interesting... anyone here have/had a copy? Worth the cash?
There are John Goldburger's two books omega Watches Omega sports watches Both of them are just eye candy, not research material though.
