Hi, I currently own a Seamaster Professional chronometer and would like to get a book with its story and detail information on the various models variation (Something similar to the James Dowling book on Rolex, which I happen to own autographed and dedicated to me by James himself!). Which one should I buy?

I know about the pdf and the free one in ISUU, am looking for a hard copy type version.

    Thanks,

    Francisco

For Speedmaster history, production, variations, and general information, this reference book is getting great reviews...

Thanks. I saw that one on Ebay, but $300 + is out of question

Given that you are asking about Seamasters id be suggesting 'a journey through time' at this point, which is the most incredible reference across the board on omega models/history and will shortly be unavailable as the last copies run out, but that's also a $300 book, so I'm not sure what options you have left to you that cover Seamasters in detail

This is the ONLY book that covers seamsters in detail.

You'll be searching for a looooooooong time for a sub-$300 book that covers Omega in any detail.

I'd keep hunting. Sure I paid +$300 for my Journey Through Time, but I bought my Moonwatch for around $89.00 if my memory serves me right. Could trawl through my Paypal account if needed, but seriously, if your commitment to Omega is going to be life long, either book is going to be a wealth of knowledge, even if only to impress the members about your knowledge..!!! I'd suggest that the Moonwatch is more for the Speedmaster enthusiasts, though that is obvious whereas AJTT is pure OMEGA at its very best. It has everything,. Yeah, sure, extremely expensive, (about the cost of a bracelet) but in my experience, well worth it. Shop around for that Moonwatch..

    EDIT.
Apologies, my mistake. My Moonwatch book is actually Moonfire, by Norman Mailer. I reiterate, if you are into Speedmaster, NASA, the Space Race, This book is incredible value for money.

The Moonwatch Only book, now that sounds interesting...

I also have the Omega Ploprof by Jon Wallis (Omega Lifetime Magazine Contributor) which I found enlightening to say the least

Seems a fair price for something that can give you a great education.

I meant it as a joke, but if funds permitted, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Steve, you lost me on that one, even though I love Lou Malnati's pizza.
Perhaps you are confusing me with some other young handsome guy?
