I’ve never experienced this thread as pushy. I find it a nice place to see fun watches at affordable prices, and I enjoy it more than the WRUW thread most of the time.
I agree 100%. If it were not the case that my wife is a minimalist without an adventurous style, I would have grabbed her one. My daughters are still too young and rowdy for mechanical watches I would go there. For now we will stick to Casio digital watches and Swatch analog watches for the kiddos.
Had me too, but I'm worried about how the "s" on the end of swiss is being "pulled" up toward the 6 marker, and the odd glue like substance around the markers.
I thought it looked okay, the dial looks age(d) appropriate and IMO, quite good, ditto the hands, case and crown, and we all know that photos can distort, particularly through old, unpolished crystals. I’d want to ask the seller about how the watch runs and might have put in a lower offer But for the fact that I already have two of these I might have gone for it.
This just in and happy with it, runs well 45 hours power reserve, accurate enough and it's a soleil dial which is a bonus. I'm a thinking the chrono seconds hand may be a replacement but a well running valjoux 7733 for less than US$500 is a great deal. Many thanks to all for pointing this out and on to the pics

Now that is intersting. The dull mid-case finish looks like aluminum, particularly considering I don't see the standard pitting one would see on a pot metal case. The surface area under the case back with the smallish movement looks like it could potentially be a larger case size- like 34-37, but seller makes no mention of size..
need better pics...........the watch i bought in lieu of this hasn't arrived from the ukraine yet. it's been over 20 days meanwhile,..in keeping with the hostile takeover of mid century dress watch theme this thread has become.. viola 85 or best offer seller gives measurements over 35mm in size https://www.ebay.de/itm/RARE-SILVAN...372977?hash=item1a97f20f71:g:YuEAAOSwnOZetwsrPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network same seller 33mm linen dial $150 obo.....very clean watch https://www.ebay.de/itm/Super-DOGMA...887614?hash=item1a86460d7e:g:hasAAOSwW7hdohoaPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

This one is still around and it has been reduced! @JwRosenthal posted this one a while back. If you can't do a constellation right now this is a good alternative. https://www.ebay.com/itm/324301419948Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
