Another Bulova for auction with a day left. Crystal scuffed as well. The outer track is a keeper though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193673104079Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

For anyone out there with slim wrists ;) I've got skinny wrists and man does it come in handy for these mid century watches. https://www.ebay.com/itm/184463125730Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

    Are you he
i like the green one but IMHO the purple one would not fit a dress watch with that sporty side stitch.
(I’m biased, I hate those side stitches on most cases - they are often too thick and to me come across as a quick and dirty way of holding two pieces of leather together. so at least if used they need to be on a sporty watch which matches the casual look of the stitch.)

I agree on the side stich although I do own a couple that came to me on watches and they work on a few vintage sport pieces I have- but I too prefer a fully finished strap. Bulang used to carry a fantastic deep plum strap that was fully stitched but it looks as though it's gone now.

The older style pigskin (?) band of my Pratina has turned out the be the most comfortable band I've yet found.
Occasionally lots of NOS 40's-50's pigskin bands have shown up on Ebay.

Thanks dude, just arrived. It’s got some issues but it’s going to be a fun project.

It was listed as running quite fast and the micro rotor is rubbing on the case back - a common problem apparently. I have another 620 thinomatic movement on a slow boat so I’ll throw it all at a watchmaker and see what happens. Dial and case are pretty good though.

I have a UG microrotor at the watchmaker currently in need of some love so feel your pain. These esoteric watches are a joy until they aren't and turn into money pits.

This is a very smart looking Caravelle with gold dial furniture and chrome case. Lume looks great and I love those markers. Cheap-cheap! USA shipping only apparently, sorry Dave :(

Same seller as the previous. Plating is chipping on the lugs. Lovely dial and movement though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/363120549011Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Last one for the late night. Hamilton with some damage on the dial. Some apparent rotor rub on the inside. Offer way down. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224171726280Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
