Update on the cute little Caravel.
Keeping time very nicely. I was surprised to find signs of life in the lume. The tips of the hands showed brightly for several minutes after awhile in the sun washing the dog. Later I used a tac light to charge the lume a bit and the numerals, except for no.1 showed up fairly well, though they faded quickly.
The number 1 looks much darker in normal lighting than the others, due to there being no dusting of residual lume still clinging to it.
The hands on this and similar Caravels are flat at the tips to accommodate the coating of lume.
Got a lot of water splashed on the watch while bathing the dog but none got in near as I can tell.

GF Hamilton auto, stepped case with lovely lugs- almost a Disco Volante style but a bit too 50's. Dial has a bit of patina but is an overall attractive watch.

Excellent chrome plated C-shaped Roamer. Dial is beautiful with bright lemon yellow lume and the no-date layout is incredibly pleasing- the placement of every element on that dial is spot on. A few tiny specs visible but that may be topical.

the gold Bulova arrived today. The dial is quite incredible. The movement is shot. Will need to source a replacement to bring this one back to life. It’s got a 11BLAC in it. Any ideas what else would run in this one? Will try and find an old runner for heart transplant.
