We had a jamboree when I was in scouts. They served instant mashed potatoes, we all got sunstroke, and the creek where we could cool off was filled with cow bones. This jamboree seems much more pleasant

Did a little looking online at this one- nice watch. Dial looks legit, lume at 12/3/6/9 is consistent with others, hands may be replacement as they are different than every other example I saw, crown I done know. Dates to mid 60’s. For the price this is a nice watch from one of the best.

Every Lord Elgin I've seen before tend to be very small...is this one likely 30mm? Quick search seems to point that way, but if anyone in the know could confirm, it would be much appreciated!

Most likely. But there is no bezel to speak of on that one- it’s all glass to the edge so it would probably wear a bit larger. And like the one the other day, it has a rare USA auto movement.
I am skeptical of the dial- the paint looks to creep up the sides of the applied indices- not to say it’s a redial- but may be. I haven’t looked at enough of these know how Elgin’s finishing looked.

I guess today is the day of Longines
This thing is lovely, honest wear to the case but not abuse. Dial looks totally original to me and love the numerals, syringe hands are awesome. Crystal has a crack but that’s easily sorted. Has make offer.

Groovy 1971 Bulova with stepped dial and whale logo. Dial looks great with one spot on on it (may be paint flake, may be just topical crud), radial case brushing is surprisingly sharp. There is a funky spot by the crown but the case is stainless so that should clean off with a good scrub (or naptha). Crown doesn’t appear to be original, but factory crowns are abundant on eBay. Even comes with a vintage mesh bracelet which we rarely see. This is a cool ass watch from the last gasp of Bulova before the quartz implosion.

That speck on the dial changes position based on angle of photo...I'd bet it's on the crystal and not the dial. Nice piece, and I'd be tempted if I hadn't had 7 arrivals this past weekend (with an 8th on the way...I might have a problem:-o)!

That’s a nice watch! And yes, the original stretchy on these is rare as they commonly get chucked thinking they were aftermarket.
