That is what happens when a company restarts a heritage brand with a deep and glorious catalog and doesn’t try to put their own spin on it- just respect the original designs and upsize them for a modern market.
Someone at Citizen was paying attention

Finally got one before @Syzygy
You all are safe in your hunting for awhile...I'm rebuilding the watch fund and taking a break from new purchases at the moment after picking up this lovely new addition.

Absolutely not! If any go on the chopping block, I'll start with some I picked up from here...seems I snagged a couple duplicates that aren't getting much wrist time.

The dupes should go anyway- throw the smaller fish back for the rest of us to gobble up

The Bulova A-15 was a nice deal 👍
I've been meaning to pick one up for a long time and next week I'm finally due to receive an older version of it with a 40mm case.

Another badass Bulova reissue- Surfboard! These are really stunning, stepped dial, applied indices, perfect case size. The mechaquartz is the little left sub-dial, the chrono hand is a mechanical sweep so no annoying tick-tick-tick.
$200 make offer, go get it!

Not an expert on these Hamiltons by any stretch, but it's interesting that this has a quick-release strap on it. I thought these had fixed spring bars?

Good point. Not an expert either but it could either have been retrofitted with spring bar holes, or the specs might have changed at some point.
But agree that the fixed bars are part of the charm of these things

And someone snagged it already. Not surprised as it was well priced. Hopefully one of our own got it!

Yeah, and it was *almost* me, haha! The bars gave me pause, but in reality not really a big deal.
Thanks for posting this @Thommas !

Some great deals on here lately!

They didn’t have fixed bars on the Hamilton’s. And we were 7 years out of Vietnam by 1982. That was actually towards the end of the run for Hammy’s.

Hamilton Khaki 42mm with ETA movement, manual wind with a few scratches around the lugs. Good overall condition listed at $219 for anyone interested. I personally find the size too big, but it's a nice looking watch.
