Very nice Benrus tank with fresh service (shows pics) and amazingly clean dial. If you have been wondering how the tank style would work for you- this would be a good way to dip your toe.
Seller has a familiar prefix and is located in Portland…. @pdxleaf is this you?

Good thing he has it on a strap. Can't imagine how he'd get a bracelet over that hand.

You're not kidding. I actually LOLed over this. Looks like PDX is going to get some freezing rain this week. Should be fun. 🙁

Cheap diver alert!

This is a two parter on this one:

First is the chrome plated Swank- I have a love for these as they are the same watch as the LeJour and Yema Gran Sporto watches, just branded by Swank for the US market as far as I have seen. They wear nicely have a decent 17j movement and have awesome hands and dials.

Second part is the strap. The strap is a one piece stamped leather with captured 16mm lug tabs. These were usually made by Gemex and are fabulous with smaller watches like the A11 military watches. It’s an awful drug-store mismatch to this watch, but if it’s not dried out- would be great on a old military watch,

Price isn’t bad for a nice running cheap skindiver- has make offer so may get cheaper.

A little glycerin soap and leather conditioner, like an old saddle, that strap could likely be brought back to life.

^ and....it's gone! I recall another seller you posted had one in their other items that caught my eye, so whomever grabbed this for $179 got a great deal.

On the skin diver front we have this clean all steel Helbros. Not a bad deal at all assuming it runs well. Fun watch for someone who doesn't own a vintage dive watch or maybe for a youngster in your life.

I thought I was done buying more watches this year, but @JwRosenthal keeps finding great deals on eBay that I can't resist. I will have to unfollow this thread eventually.
