Citizens in good nick might be the last true bargains out there. Especially from about 67 to 71 they really had some great movements and they raised their game on case finishing and was on a par with the best of Seiko at the time.

It's back on starting at £300 and taking offers. Do you think lack of interest is because the case looks somewhat "textured"? I wonder if it has been in a war and that's the best that polishing could do for it?
I thinks it’s the sum of the sins- case has lost its brushing (I believe it should be a brushed top) doesn’t have the zenith crown, dial has spotting. It’s enough to keep me away from it.
