Hard to know whether this will end up going for a good price and I don't know anything about the variants so maybe this is already overpriced, but with one bid, two days to go and the reserve dropped, maybe there's a chance someone will like this. It seems to be a nice example and I know there are many lovers of Polerouters here so thought I'd flag it up.

And on this note of shipping, having sold a few recently, a domestic flat rate box with insurance via click& ship with a USPS account it about $15 (depending on the insurance amount), not $4 like all of us like to think- it’s not 1992 anymore.

Shipping watches internationally-uninsurable through USPS -to members here has cost me as much as $50- I don’t set the fees and this is not a contest- just stating the facts as I have discovered at my local PO.
Shipping costs what it costs- we have no control and the fees and rules seem to change weekly (particularly right now). Don’t ask for next day even with Fed-ex in our current climate-it won’t happen, but they’ll still offer it to you and take your money.
I offer free shipping domestically when I sell and factor that into my asking price. Int’l is whatever they feel like charging on a given day so I can’t rightly offer that for free as I don’t know what it will be (and on a $200 watch it could be a 1/4 of the value).

I get not quibbling over $10 on a watch that may be a good value. But I agree that the principle of someone trying to make up fees and expenses in an added S&H fee to lower the appearance of asking price is just tacky.
Fair as usual in your assessment but you should try buying in the USA from Australia. The variation in price in staggering ranging from US$20 to $65, the latter being USPS’s laughable Global Priority service in which anything delivered in less than 3.5 weeks is a total win. Note that in our currency the latter is nigh on $100, on which we also pay GST. (Not the fault of ebay or USPS admittedly)
Meanwhile comparative service from the UK costs less than $50 and takes 7-10 days.
Getting back to the original point though, it is obvious that some sellers fully intend to make up the margin on their ‘no reserve’ auctions by making sure they get the extra 10 or 20 quid regardless of your winning bid.

It’s 2am, guess what I’m doing.

Enicar does their version of the Polerouter. Stainless case, 35mm, seller says fully serviced and shows pics of it- that’s a good sign. Price seems good for a serviced wannabe Polerouter by a big name.

I’m on a diet, which is why I post them here instead of eating them.

I plead the 5th on this one...

It wasn't my fault. I had an espresso after dinner and could not sleep...

I am actually chatting to the seller.

Very interesting guy. It seems like this is a hobby that he does for pleasure. Not doing it for a profit at all. Just enjoys bringing vintage watches back to life and getting them back in the hands of the public.

Definitely a seller to add a follow on over there.

He's servicing his own Rolexes... Has an insane collection of Enicar, Longines, etc. Has an amazing-looking Nautilus.

It looks like after a dry spell, bargain thread is having a feast today!

Stainless Wyler with a “rail” style dial (although this is not the railroad approved, it sure wants to be). Seller doesn’t mention size but assume around 33.5. The bezel is interesting, not engine turned, but kind of like it. Should clean up nicely.

Base metal bezel, so it might not clean up that well. Still a nice watch, and could be fine. It is hard to know until you lay eyes on it.
