Yep, sorry folks. 😁 This'll go to a friend who has been wanting one of those for quite a while, but only on a gold bracelet and he was certain he couldn't afford it. I'm very much looking forward to presenting this to him. 😀 It's almost more fun than buying a watch for myself. And that it's a chronometer is another added bonus he wouldn't have dreamed to be within reach. I'll try to convince him to register, a wristshot might be a very suitable first post.

I’ve just read this to my SO. She considers 10 crazy and wonders why there are even bigger “levels of escalation”. Which makes me realize that she hasn’t had a look in my watch drawer for quite a while. 😁

Watches are our only jewelry, really. Sure some may rock a ring, a bracelet or the occasional necklace, but for the most part- men don’t typically have jewelry.
My lady has a sizable jewelry box, she has some lovely pieces- lots of earrings, this is my earrings.
I don’t have a drug or gambling habit, I don’t carry debt other than the mortgage, I don’t spend on lavish lifestyle things (I drive a 15 year old car) so a few indulgences are not out of line IMO.
If you are buying watches on credit, perhaps you need to slow down.

Got it for $20 plus shipping (which is almost another $20 to Europe 😜). Thanks! I see other examples for around $50 including the original bracelet, but this dial is nicer plus I do not particularly like the bracelet (I doubt it would have fitted me anyway)
