I think these Lip reissues are a nice value if you don’t have the stomach for the vintage SC’s- which are like owning a vintage Jag- you have to know what you are getting into. I am particularly fond of their blue dials.

I have a couple of the originals and they are a BEAR to repair....TBH easier to source nos movement as they are ultra sensitive, very hard to set and no one will touch them to rebuild now outside of a couple of chaps in France BUT- Hey they are beautiful hummers just not much use in the drawer. The new one is a much better proposition.
It should look a bit like this...they are small but beautiful in the flesh. Every bit as good as a Connie imho.
