Is a wrist shit when you show someone your watch under the stall wall on the toilet?

Sorry for the confusion. Just a typo, but this is a wrist shit:

Nothing wrong with this one, it’s the Hodinkee x Picasso limited edition.

How on earth could anyone have done that dial, sat back and thought- oh yeah- nailed it.

Good day. First, let's all cheer the close of this dumpster fire of a year! I'm wondering if you might all chime in with an opinion. I sniped a watch and lost (barely) and now because the fellow (or woman) whose bid won has pulled out, I'm being offered a second chance at a price of $990. It seems fair to me but I'm just not sure - any opinions? https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-MEN-S-STAINLESS-VULCAIN-CHRONOGRAPH-WATCH-1376-/264986436314?nma=true&si=8f%2Fnncv8kb1mRrF2pYa69T6KkCg%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I don't know enough about chronos to speak with confidence, but it looks good and the price seems fair. Perhaps a new thread in the Other Watch brands forum is warranted.

Despite it being branded Vulcain, it looks like it was made by Wakmann. Plated case- not stainless, can’t make out the maker of the movement. It’s clean, but I think a bit on the high side.

I didn't look carefully enough, I personally would not get a chromed watch at this price.

I sold a member here my stainless Wakmann- which is strikingly similar to this warch, but with a sunburst dial that makes this one look boring- for 2/3 the price.

And now for something completely different:

If anything could possibly scream 70’s to the max- it’s this!
Technos Borazon with rainbow dial, faceted crystal, stainless cushion case, gold hardware and crown- and mesh bracelet....holy shit!
I have no clue what this thing should be worth, but I think $200-250 for the in-your-face factor could be worth it. I would verify bracelet length before making an offer- mesh bracelets like this are fixed for length other than the 1/2” you get in the micro-clasp adjustment.

Not sure why I’m so attracted to the 70’s watches lately, perhaps it’s because this year has been such a downer- the daring styles and bold colors just liven life up a bit.
Nice looking lord Elgin, sizable at 41mm. All stainless with blue dial and great pops of orange. BOR looks like the top links are a bit stretched out but those can be bend back. Case has honest wear and nice sharp edges. This would be a fun piece- has make offer.

Hi Bill,

I don’t know about others, but I’d find it really helpful if you could post photos of the watches as well as the links.

Thanks,

Robert

Me too. Can’t stop looking at 70s style and thinking how cool it looks now. We’re now in the 50 years on decade so that may explain it. The 70s were my teen years and I remember thinking that fashion in those days was pretty bad. Now I’m terribly nostalgic for it. Think I might get me a bright green satin suit with five mile wide lapels.
