Nice looking SS Tissot Seastar-Seven Visodate. Looks to be in good shape and has a clean signed back which is always a plus on these (and worth a small premium). Has make offer- would be a nice buy around $150- but still not bad at asking for a classic styled Tissot.

I've already thought this model is a great entry point to vintage watches. Classic, simple and can be had for a fair price.

And it’s cousin Seamaster of the same era is 4x the price.

Another nice Seastar- this on the other end of the style spectrum. Great looking C-shaped case, great dial and bright yellow lume pips. Looks like the factory brushing is intact. One of my favorite eras of design for Omega/Tissot.

Edit: just noticed the hands are not lumed which implies they aren’t not original- I won’t rescind the post- but wrong hands would be a deal breaker for me. If correct hands could be sourced- this would be a nice watch

Bah! Reading my new watch book and sipping (should read gulping) red wine. Missed it.

Hi again

Compare this to a 2 register Omega sports chronograph.....

Dead Link/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0...8AAOSw0elfvAkL&campid=5338755308&toolid=20008

very cool case and if you have an issue wearing something as large as a Speedmaster .... The PR 516 format is elegant and will fit a standard wrist well...

Good hunting

Dont forget the PRS 516 format

Yep I have always liked the various 516 models. I love my "racing" versions with the kitschy steering wheel see-thru case back and bracelet with the drilled lightening holes 👍

Thanks for the heads up Norman, I landed this one! Hopefully it was worth it, watch pictures were pretty poor. A google search on a similar one said 38mm with crown. Looks like a barely visible red crosshair in the pictures too. I'll post a better picture when it arrives.

I figured it was worth a shot when @JwRosenthal and then @wagudc posted discouraging comments. 👍

It is really nice, and I am glad you got it for a good price. You have to share a wrist shot or two when it arrives.

Good day. First, let's all cheer the close of this dumpster fire of a year! I'm wondering if you might all chime in with an opinion. I sniped a watch and lost (barely) and now because the fellow (or woman) whose bid won has pulled out, I'm being offered a second chance at a price of $990. It seems fair to me but I'm just not sure - any opinions? https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-ME...=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Is a wrist shit when you show someone your watch under the stall wall on the toilet?
