I know Tradition watches were sold through Sears, but I've not seen that one previously. It has a strong "Railmaster" vibe to me.

hi

agree I think it’s a Sears watch and more of a Ranchero vibe to me plus same type of case construciton!

good hunting

I'm pretty sure that watch is from the Sears one - the script for "Tradition" is the same as their other watches, but it could be coincidental, as the other more famous Tradition diver with the bakelite bezel has "sears Roebuck" inside the case and on the movement. I wonder if it has the original movement or a replacement though? A few other of the Tradtition 500 watches I found have AS1430 movements marked with "tradition watch co" vs the Savoy that is in this one. Regardless it looks really nice.

Agree movement in this case is NOT a show stopper, I WOULD STILL BUY THIS. !

Hahahahha!!! Welcome to the bargain thread!!! I think I need to start a new thread that’s connected to this one of all the watches we planned on sharing- actually took the screen shot of the listing and copied the link...kept looking at it, typed the thread intro....then looked at it again...then said fυck-it, and just bought it

Nice stainless Paul Portinoux- the dial is great, case shape is clean and bold- about as elegant and timeless as they come. Seller says not working so could be anything. Looks to be an AS movement so parts are usually abundant and easy to work on for any watchmaker. Seller sent me an unsolicited offer for $28, I think they would take lower.

Stainless Hamilton with fancy lugs. Dial is very clean with a bit of yellowing in the center but looks subtle and even . 33mm and comes with an a very nice looking alligator strap. Asking isn’t bad and has make offer.

All stainless steen. Tritium looks intact. Dial clean. This is a steal for anyone who can work on it themselves.
In fact the buy it now has been reduced to $22.

Does it have lume, so you could use it bedside at night?

Plus if you have never slept with a mechanical clock at bedside, you may be in for a rude awakening- literally- it will keep you up all night.

The very long, darkened indexes are beautiful with this patina. Bit too many spots for my taste though.
The seller of that LeCoultre clock might appreciate the spotlight but there’s no way to know it will be a “good deal” when the auction ends....

Pendulum clocks are too much for me, but I will take 18,000 bph + mechanical clock over an analog quartz clock any day. Tick . . . tick . . . tick . . . TICK!
