A rough but decent enough stainless steel Marvin. https://www.ebay.nl/itm/Vintage-MAR...776647?hash=item48f2d64f87:g:1zwAAOSw5epfup2SPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

I'll admit the dial looks funky but this case is to die for. https://www.ebay.nl/itm/Vintage-Roy...444976?hash=item2f495f4bb0:g:9dQAAOSwZF5cp4WOPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Hi Everyone.... I am a sucker for Super compressors.. This one is off the beaten path.... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-...G_SOON.R1.TR18&campid=5338755308&toolid=20008 Not inexpensive but interesting .... more of an education then a purchase... Good Hunting Bill
That is very cool. Does anyone know of a repairman/watchmaker that can convert pocket watches into wristwatches via adding lugs? There is a company where you can purchase one's already done but at well over $1K.
Hi everyone... One of my favorite brands that are below the RADAR is Roamer Rockshell series.... This example is a little beaten on... has "Hardshell" coating... take a look at it .... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-...cAAOSwIUBf1nUZ&campid=5338755308&toolid=20008 Some of the earlier ones the bracelet was made by Gay Freres for Roamer.... Good hunting Bill
Hi @rcs914 not really ... Roamer was making the Rockshell without the super scratch proof shell.... this is the first time I noticed an example with it ... They are large fun 70s style watches ! I will keep an eye out for others ... Good hunting Bill
Hi Everyone. I also look for old watch tools etc.... this already sold .. .but its very cool!!! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-...orig_cvip=true&campid=5338755308&toolid=20008 I can see testing a Seamaster ref 2577 with this !!! Good Hunting Bill
I can't tell if it's original or 1940s but it looks great. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1940s-Vint...200063?hash=item2f4c567f7f:g:o1AAAOSwo4pYYQ2sPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Hi everyone.... this is on my watchlist..... I posted it before... checks alot of boxes.. case , dial and even has proper crown. movement signed Savoy watch.. probably correct but not a show stopper for me.... any thoughts? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-....c100667.m2042&campid=5338755308&toolid=20008 Good Hunting Bill
Back in the day you could order a kit to convert your pocket watch into a wrist watch. Doubt you'd find anything like that today. You could check vintage Russian watches. There are still a few original pre WW2 converted watches up for sale on occasion. These were popular there before the Russians established their state owned watch factories. The largest sizes were often used by their military , the large dials being easier to read at a glance in low light. Another possibility would be to find a non working conversion cheap and transfer your movement and perhaps crystal into it's case.
I know Tradition watches were sold through Sears, but I've not seen that one previously. It has a strong "Railmaster" vibe to me.
I'm pretty sure that watch is from the Sears one - the script for "Tradition" is the same as their other watches, but it could be coincidental, as the other more famous Tradition diver with the bakelite bezel has "sears Roebuck" inside the case and on the movement. I wonder if it has the original movement or a replacement though? A few other of the Tradtition 500 watches I found have AS1430 movements marked with "tradition watch co" vs the Savoy that is in this one. Regardless it looks really nice. https://www.carousell.sg/p/vintage-tradition-compressor-diver-176514379/
