Classic Paul Portinoux, lovely pearl dial with a few tiny spots, 35mm stainless case, twisted lugs, AS 1700 movement- this is a classic design by a decent house that often flies under the radar.
Note- I cant tell if the dark spot on the dial under 11 is a shadow or an actual dark spot on the dial- I would want another pic at an angle to see.
Very cool, do you have a link as it’s not showing up on any UK eBay searches which I presume means no international shipping. Just curious to see more photos, it looks a lot of watch for the money.

I would wonder about the hands having lume yet the dial does not.

Pips are there at the end of the indices, dial is orginal- they have gone a little dark.

Don't really see it.
5 and 7 are surely missing?

Best

They're at the bases, not at the tips.

Also you’re right about the dark spot under the 11, the seller mentions there’s a dent in the dial.
Ugh! That sucks...would be such a great watch but I couldn’t live with that. Perhaps a skilled watchmaker (or hobbiest) could massage it out with a wood peg...but as with anything dial oriented- at great risk

So I've had this in my cart for a couple weeks, but haven't pulled the trigger, since it appears to be a redial and the pictures were taken with not just a potato, but a mushy one at that. But the case appears to be pretty sharp, and the price is less than $20 shipped.

I wonder if these dents are made by clumsy watchmakers removing the hands, I have this little Eterna which suffers from an identical affliction (and one near the 4). It definitely takes the shine off it.

Agreed and a nice assymetrical turn. Here’s to hoping it’s at least 35mm and steel.

Couldn’t resist the blued hands 🥰

And now for something completely different. Saw it and thought I'd share it. Maybe it's too much but let's see what you think.https://www.ebay.com/itm/283967138262
There were a lot of Sicura Computer models, so I don't know for sure, but the combination of world time, tachymeter, and a yacht timer bezel on a non-chrono is surprising; I can't find a similar one, and not sure how one would use this, but I can't say that it's incorrect. The asking price is not a deal based on recent sales, but at a lower offer it could be a cheap funky watch. Note that it's plated.

I agree. Definitely could be funky but the price is off putting. Been trawling through divers to find a deal to share. Lets keep this thread alive and kicking!

There were a lot of these - let’s throw everything on it- cheap divers. It shows that they were trying very hard to make a cheap watch look far more complicated than it was. The cheap diver thread is full of them. At $235 it seems steep for one of these, but it is a 23 jeweled movement as opposed to the single jeweled POS’s we normally see from this brand, it appears to be in stellar condition which most of them are not, and the compressor style second crown just adds to the cool factor (who cares if it actually works like a compressors- it looks badass which is what this is all about- looks).
I would say for someone who wants the bling-out 70’s sporty style (insert bell bottoms here), it would be a fun grab at $175-200..assuming it’s running, and since it has a real movement it can be serviced unlike the single jeweled ones.

Ahhhhh good to know. It seems like a very flashy design. Definitely in good shape like you said but still. A lot of these 70s and 80s divers seem so overpriced on eBay.
