If it had cooler hands I’d be all over it. I like to see some variety beyond the sticks.

Worth it for the folded link bracelet- looks to have all 13 links (a few tucked up in the clasp)

You could always change the hands...I’m sure you have a few beaters with arrow hands that could work

Stainless Aureole (that is the name of the company- stop snickering). Runs, looks nice- $26....that’s all that needs to be said.

Worth the dice toss for what could be an A.Schild movement? We'll see if their definition of 'working' is any good.

For $30 shipped, I figured "I would have spent more than that picking up a coffee and paying tolls back and forth to work, so why not!" If it's small, it'll be a nice little gift for the holidays. And, after a very quick search to see some other Auerole(s) it seems they were a nice little piece with a decent movement that should be easy to source parts for in the event it shows up DOA.

    Thanks @JwRosenthal!

I’m I the only juvenile here who sees that name and starts giggling...what the hell is with me?? Same reactions when I use to see Wang computers.

Oh, that reminds me (Wang computers, that is)...completely off topic of the thread, but if you're in to earlier days of computing, I highly recommend the series Halt and Catch Fire.

Guy pulls up to a service station offering a $19.95 oil change special. He asked the attendant if he can leave the car for the day and the attendant says “sure”.
The next day he pulls back in and says “hi, I would like the $19.95 oil change special”. The attendant looks quizzically at the guy but writes up the ticket- the guy asks “can I leave it here for the day?” And the attendant says “sure”.
The next day the guy pulls into the service station again and says “ hi, I would like the $19.95 oil special”. The attendant looks at him and says “you have been here 3 days in a row- what gives?”.
The guy replies “well, this costs half what it does across the street to park for the day”.

    Guilty as charged James.

This is a genuine story from about 6/7 years ago.....

A snooty jewellery forum i was on, people were discussing silly names.
Me being an avid sports fan and also having a cheeky side decided to chime in, things did not go well :eek:

For a long time i have known about a ski jumper called Andreas Wank ( Vank ) an elite athlete.
I am also aware of a female skier around at the same time called Fanny Schmeller an elite athlete.
My main error was that i also mentioned what would happen if they got married :whipped:::censored:: instant ban

I will let you work it out :whistling:;)
