Cute little square Elgin from the 60’s. Stainless case that appears to retain its original finishes, AS movement which the seller says has been serviced, nice looking black dial with white outer track. This one is small at 31mm so for the small wristed or a great gift for the holidays (yes, only weeks away).

Nice looking Seeland chronograph. These were common on the late 40’s/early 50’s- most likely with a Landeron 48 inside. They are smaller at 34.5-35mm but are all dial so wear like any watch this size. This one has the original lume on the hands and dial and the dial looks like it’s aged to a nice bronze color (although his color correction is shit). Some pitting on the sides and back of the case and pushers show wear but it’s actually pretty good compared to how most of these age- the dial condition is really the star here.
Seller says working (although who knows if he tested the chrono properly for reset), and considering how these have climbed in price over the last couple years, it’s not badly priced...and as always, condition, condition- finding a clean dial on these is rare. Worth a PM to ask if the chrono is functioning properly (hopefully he knows how to use it and doesn’t fυck it up), and may be willing to do PM offer considering he looks like a new seller and a picker- not a watch guy.

Who wants the Funk?
This is an awesome 70’s Gruen- blue oval dial, brushed case and bracelet- even has the original box-the epitome of dated cool. Break out your white polyester leisure suit for this one.

I normally don’t post open auctions (just BIN) but I know we have some Technos Sky Light lovers here so this one is worth watching- had the cartouche on the back! And the seller has a few other Technos worth watching as well.

This one may have been shared but hey. This seller has been known to accept offers as I remember too. https://www.ebay.com/itm/324332795481

I actually purchased this watch about a month ago. It has a great stepped case and a lovely dial. It wasn't keeping time when I received it, so I sent it back, but the seller was great to deal with and followed up quickly to say that he serviced it and had it running like a champ again. Given his professional demeanor and quick communication, I would have purchased it back, but I had already bought another piece instead. It's a great looking watch. He accepted $200 as an offer.

But failed to mention the servicing in the listing?

It looks like he reposted it using the original listing. I get the impression he works on his watches himself, so “service” might be a strong word. Still, it was a nice watch and he seemed like a straight shooter. It would be worth asking him about what he’s done to it if someone wanted to make an offer.

He takes great photos, I'll give him that. Someone else has bought from him in recent weeks if I recall. Always gotta take these listings with a grain of salt on eBay.

Someone snapped that up right quick. That was a good price for a heavy duty.
Missing bezel- and finding another requires a parts watch. I kicked myself at first for not seeing it until I saw that.

Thanks for making us feel better (well one person might be kicking themselves if they didn't see that).
