If not clear I mean The antique Emile Jacot!
Yeah, US seller, has a good rep from what I’ve seen, have a watch they sold once (to the guy I bought it from) and it’s beautiful. Seller notes the inner case back is brass, but the outer case is 18k, I would still think the price is worth the gold weight alone.... but I’m not a gold expert.

Posting this here (rather than in the Omega deals thread) because I like this thread and it needs a bump.

This one looks about as honest as they come- pre Deville SMDV (so around ‘61-62) crappy pics and stretchy bracelet- seller is a picker with tons of feedback.
Case looks sharp, dial original and pips nice and clean on the tips of the indices with matching lume on hands. Vertical brushed dial, correct crown, factory crystal with cyclops- this is a sharp looking watch.

Price is not horrible but on the high side- but I paid close to that for mine in similar shape but with the bracelet. Make offer is an option.

Lol! My first inclination was “dammit, how did I miss that!”, then I remembered that I threw it out there... thank you for sparing me from having to buy it.

I keep myself honest by only buying ones with all stainless cases. There are tons of cool old watches with chromed cases, but I don't like the pitting. Finding all stainless cased divers for less than $75 or so is a real hunt, so conversely I don't buy much 😀

This looks like a pretty nice Certina Bristol...kind of a poor man's Seamaster...$70. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Sw...513905?hash=item2167a0d371:g:SFUAAOSwJKhd9idy

Double thumbs up on this. 35mm-
Perfect size, stainless case, seems to be running and clean looks.

I have a tri-tone sub-second Bristol for which I paid thrice this much and it’s a superb watch. Same seller has a few other bargain gems

Wow I'll say. At that point you're not just searching for overlooked gems, you need to find an oblivious seller.

I've gotten 2 in the past year, and missed out on this cool one last week, which sold for $51:

Nice 34mm stainless Wyler. Dial looks nice with bright pips that match the hands. Wyler usually used ETA’s so are known to be reliable performers. This is about as classic late 60’s/early 70’s as you get for a nice price.

Same seller as above:
Chrome plated Orvin diver. Gotta love the 12/6/9 triangular markers, arrow hands, lolipop second hand and cyclops date window. Case has some wear but not bad, movement is probably a Swiss workhorse like an FHF or Felsa. Orvin did a lot of OEM watches under other brands (like Swank and Sears Tradition)- but they are the mother-ship of cheap 60’s divers.

Oh, and it’s make offer- see how low will they go.

@Nepomuceño - thanks for coming to the party- I feel like I’m the only one dancing. Please copy and paste the link to the auction as it makes it easier to find. Sometimes they are listed strangely.

Ok, I’m not a gold plate guy (or gold at all really), and the dial on this is far from perfect, but it’s honest. Also the BIN is a bit high but for the starting bid or slightly higher it may be worth it. Now all that said -
Hot Damn look at that bottle capped case!! And those lugs!!!
