Saw that- nice looking, but the rust on the hands puts me off. The dial looks great though.
It always seems the ones that are scuffed have great hands while ones like these always have rusty hands but great dials 👎

A warning to anyone who reads this thread.....you will become addicted. Here’s my Wyler box. It was empty a few months ago... and there are more coming every day.

Now I need to rationalize why I need a Technos Skylight. Or why I don’t. Nah. I need one.

A question on the Skylight.
Is the Crystal also faceted on some versions?

Also as to the case backs with inletting but no sign of a medallion, could that have been due to some copyright issue during a period when the brand changed hand?
Could some have been sold without the medallion to allow customising on special order? Could these have been replacement backs due to the probability of damage to a faceted back by a watch maker not familiar with the brand using the wrong tool or the tool being prone to slip because of the unusual shape?
I noticed a Japanese seller listed a Technos Skylight as a "vintage Seiko", did Seiko ever have a hand in manufacturing these during the period when Technos was a Japanese brand?

I haven't got my first one yet, though I've come within a RCH of pulling the trigger on these several times, not sure why I hesitated so long.
The question of some having no medallion while others do is one of the mysteries I'd like to solve before I commit to obtaining one.

Agreed. When I first saw these I thought the medallion was missing- but after seeing so many of them without it, it makes me beleive there was a reason- what that reason is- is the mystery.
These are unique enough that I don't see any reason why the backs would be "generic" like a prefab case used my many makers. I don't know enough about Technos to be able to track who was making parts for them, or when their fall from glory may have been- it would all be interesting research....hint -hint.
