Hi @faid2black

You wanted an opinion about Muhle Glashutte watches ?
Just wait a minute.Do you know how to pronounce Glashutte ? Is it

A ) Gla-Shu-Ta
B ) Gla -Shu-Te
C) Glas-Huh-2
D ) Glas-Hoot

My Brother has a Muhle Glashutte Rasmus 200O Orange Dial since 2013
The Woodpecker or swan neck regulation in the watch gives it an accuracy of +3.5 sec / day
Here... i told my dad to wear the 44mm tool watch so that you could appreciate the Robostness & Ruggedness of a German kick ass watch
[emoji38] its waaayyy too large for my Dad but i just wanted Dad's wrist shot to be in the forum [emoji13]

I think you meant MG Terranaut Trail 3
The Story is in the dial. Clean black dial & generous amount of tan patina Superluminova sword hands. The arrow shaped second hand makes it unique

Hey guys, I am in search of a new daily wearer. I have been switching daily duties between a transitional speedy and maxi no date submariner and would like to give each a little less use moving forward. While I love vintage, I have a feeling any vintage watch with the specs I'm after will likely be more than I want to spend for a daily. So maybe modern with a vintage look?

I'm looking at spending under $2k for a used example, must be a sport/tool watch as I NEVER dress up, around 40mm, matte dial with either painted or printed indexes and no date. Between the size, matte dial and no date, I feel like the search really narrows and so far, I'm leaning toward the Tudor Heritage Ranger.

Before I commit to the Tudor, are there watches with similar specs that I should take a look at? Really appreciate the help!

Nice dial!..👍 I like the red second hand 👍 but that particular strap has to go! 😉 So, my vote goes for the Tudor!

Can you still get a used 39mm IWC Portofino under $2K? Black, blue, silver, and another dial color I forget were available. Fortis made some similar looking watches to that Tudor too and should still be WELL below your budget max.

Just wait a minute.Do you know how to pronounce Glashutte ?

Do you know how to pronounce "not relative to the question"? 😕

Thanks for the continued input! while watching tv with the wifey, showed her a few of the tudor/pilots/german pieces I've been sorting through. She preferred the looks of the Sinn's over almost every other watch I showed her - except the Damasko DA38, which was her favorite because it has a blue second hand and blue stitching on the strap haha. I can't argue with the looks of the Sinn's and really dig both versions of the 556. Also considering the versions with red second hands just for something a little different. Not settled yet, but that's where I'm leaning.

^ulackfocus, the Portofino is gorgeous and looks like it's around $2k. My problem though which cuts out sooo many wonderful pieces, is that they're a bit too formal looking. Sometimes I wish I worked in a more formal environment just for potential watches 🤦

The Marathons look pretty cool, will keep that in mind for something I can truly take anywhere 😀
