Offering this beautiful 1963 Omega Constellation ref. 167.005, with the classic dogleg case and no-date pie-pan dial.
I purchased the watch from a well-known OF member about a year ago and had it fully serviced in March 2026. The service included a complete movement overhaul, new mainspring and gaskets, lubrication and regulation. The generic crystal previously fitted was also replaced with a genuine signed Omega acrylic crystal. Service invoice and warranty until March 2027 are included.
The stainless steel and gold-capped case is in very attractive shape, with the original facets still intact on the dogleg lugs. It shows some light surface marks consistent with age and wear. The caseback retains its Constellation observatory medallion with all eight stars clearly visible.
The brushed silver sunburst, no-date pie-pan dial is remarkably clean, with gold furniture and matching dauphine hands. Original octagonal Omega crown. Inside is the automatic chronometer cal. 551, serial 19.9M, dating the watch to 1963. It has been running beautifully and keeping excellent time since the service.
I did not want to reopen the watch after its recent service and new caseback gasket, so the movement / inside caseback photo is from the previous seller's OF listing and predates the service.
The watch comes on the pictured tan leather strap with an Omega-signed buckle. The buckle is unmarked on the reverse, so I assume it is aftermarket; both sides are pictured for transparency. Also included is the Omega Constellation box it came to me in.
Now to the pictures.
I purchased this one here on OF and have really enjoyed owning it. I'm only putting it up for sale because another vintage Omega recently joined the collection and something has to give.
Price: €2,150, plus shipping at cost.
The watch is located in Paris, France. I will gladly ship worldwide at buyer's cost and preferred method.
