    a recent Ebay purchase just came in today. Seller listed the watch as automatic, so I got a killer deal. The bits for my case opener are to dull to grab on the case. So I can only guess this is a 1969 861.

    Very nice, bezel looks like its an original too, strap isn't entirely my cup of tea though, looks a bit like a camel lol

    Nice buy. I saw that one listed as an 'automatic'. Maybe they shook it and it started to tick a bit!
    My moneys on it being a 145.022-69 cal.861 too.

    I guess they are watch people and only assumed it was an automatic. The watch looked nasty in the auction photos, but I thought if it didn't function properly I could always return it. Because it not an automatic. ;)
