I recently acquired this piece from the original owner's son.
A very nice GMT 1675 Mk-2.. The lume plots/hands have a very nice patina.
.
Happy Halloween!

What a great looking GMT MK 2, congrats on your acquisition. The dial and insert complement each other quite well. These are becoming harder to find.

Thank you for pointing out the insert.
As with GMT inserts, which I am sure many know here, the earlier 1675 examples had red back inserts before the transition to the 16750 series, which had an overlap from Red to Blue backs.

Congrats. It's not common to see a mark2. [emoji122]

I blame it on the autoconnect.

I blame it on the autoconnect.

Thanks for recognizing that. Indeed the 1675 mid-production were more frequently replaced with later dials during service.. To go back in time..

My MK 5 on 55/550 Jubilee with semi fuchsia insert

Indeed, the prices of the pink/fuchsia inserts have gone through the roof! Very nice beefy lugs!
I am sure you meant 50/550s on the jubilee...

You have a typo on the post, 55/550..
Yes, I recognized it after you pointed it out.
