·Went to the Wynn's Rolex Boutique on the Strip here in Las Vegas. Monday had the call that my 1990 Oyster Quartz Date was back from a complete service and overhaul plus dial exchange at RWSC Dallas. I had purchased it pre-owned and it needed work. Had received some water leakage which damaged the original grey tapestry dial. Applied it to the cost of a new blue dial. So what I have is a "new 1990 Rolex Oyster Quartz Date" model 17013. I found out during my conversation with the Rolex trained and equipped technician that he is authorized by Rolex USA to service all mechanical movement Rolex. Only the OQs have to be sent to a RWSC for servicing. This capability for mechanical movements does not extend to all Rolex Boutiques. As is normal for any watch sent to RWSC the finishing and polishing are exquisite.
