By the way, seller represents that a full movement service was performed on the watch in the last year by a local watchmaker who specializes in vintage and Omega. She is including the service records and receipt, so perhaps this was a bargain after all.

So the watch was shipped today. The seller sent me a confirming email with a series of photos of the watch, more photos of it being packed, and a VIDEO. Check out the last minute or so of the video to see the watch in detail. It is gorgeous and the seller gets my vote for eBay seller of the year.

Well, it arrived today and it is STUNNING. It looks as though it sat in a safe for the last 55 years. Even the box looks brand new. Papers and service records enclosed too! What a find! Happy, happy, happy!
