I can see you are quite new to this forum. But a lot of members are here for quite a few years and we know from each other how many watches have passed through the hands. There are quite a few members who can indicate very precisely what it is worth based on photos of a watch. And Fred is one of them.

On the broader topic raised, I’d suggest there are enthusiasts and professionals here with tens of thousands of posts whose collective knowledge on Omega (and others) is the equal of any resource one could wish to find in any sphere.
More specifically, regarding the OP, does anyone think the unique characteristics of his watch are as unusual as he indicates, and is that reflected in the market?

I think @Larry S has already indicated quite precisely the answer is no. However not to take anything away from the OP's watch, as it is one of my favorite models.

·$8k is way too high. Most 3572.50’s I’ve seen sell on the watch forums (fora for the snobs out there), Reddit, and Facebook groups during the last year go for around $4k - even the full set, tritium dialed ones.
