My friend wants to sell me this Omega Seamaster 007 and I am little concerned over the authenticity of it. Please tell me if this is real or fake and why. Thank you!

Real Fake? Sorry I am not familiar with this model but at first glance there are red flags: overall fit and finish
    Misaligned marker at 12
The second 0 in 007 on the dial
00000/1007 seems odd to be 5 digits out of 4 and a "not for sale" #0
    No marker at 3

Maybe someone who is familiar with these will chime in.

Two different posters showing the same watch on two separate threads! This watch has been posted on the WRUW forum, added to another thread about a fake Omega! Then this one, same watch, different poster. Something funny going on here. The wording innthevenquiry leads me to believe that it is the same poster using two different names!

What do you mean "not for sale" #0?

I think numbered editions numbered 0 are demo models or are not for sale to the public and are usually also stamped not for sale.

I agree. I feel like it would be a challenge to look for things which would make this watch seem authentic.

I knew from the laser engraved clasp that it was fake, looking at the dial is even worse. If anyone calls for this POS then they need to be shot!

Actually, the Danjaq family own the James Bond and 007 trademarks.
That doesn't make that POS any more credible though.
