First time poster here, This watch is up for sale at a local pawnshop for a very reasonable price of 275, but I'm having trouble finding proof to its authenticity. Been searching the web for hours and all I could come up with was this link: http://timerecs.com/inf/72717-omega...k_gold_stainless_steel_quartz_mens_watch.html Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Joe
Hi Joe and welcome to the forum! Quartz isn't followed much here, so we may be a little short on opinions. I don't see anything that looks out of place but I've only seen one or two and I'm certainly no expert. We have a member @Tom Dick that is very knowledgeable and hopefully he will join in, probably sleeping about now. Page 386 of "Omega A Journey Through Time" shows a reference ST 398.0867 from 1983 that looks very similar and would be my bet. We would actually need to see the movement and inside the caseback to be more sure. My bet...........real! I think the big question is what this baby would cost if it needed service! Maybe Tom can help. Again, welcome!
Looks ok but only had a quick look at a few, it is the bracelet on theses that you can pick the fakes the quickest. If the one in your avatar is yours you will know. GL
