Real or fake?

Found this in my father's desk as I was cleaning out my childhood home after my mother's passing. I can't imagine that it's real as neither of my parents had the money for it. And if real, why he would keep it in the top drawer of his desk. I just wanted to see what you might think.

wrong bezel, wrong hands, dial is very poor, no magnification on the cyclops.

Also the fact that is says "swiss mvmt" is a good tell its a fake. Should say, "swiss t-25", "swiss", or "swiss made"

I sure there's more, but its a very poor fake, IMO. Sorry.

Don't be sorry. I figured it had to be fake, but wanted to make sure. I obviously don't know a thing about them. 😀 Thanks for your help.

well pretty much everything. A quick glance and it just feels wrong.

Gotcha. Like I said, I don't know much about them, it was just a surprise to find it. Dad was a Timex guy because he worked with his hands a lot. Lol Glad to know there won't be any arguing over it.

Often once you look at enough pieces you notice real pieces have a balanced well put together look. This one looks out of balance and cheap.

The fact that your father actually had it is proof that it’s fake since no one can actually get their hands on a genuine stainless steel Rolex sports model. 🙄

If it reminds you of your Dad it's worth keeping in your drawer. I have a hideous old lorus that served my grandfather as his only watch for 30 years. I still pull it out of the drawer every few weeks for a look.
