There are several indicators that this is a fake. The misspelling of "Missons" on the case back is the probably the easiest to spot without extensive knowledge of these watches. A video of you taking a hammer to that fake would be mighty entertaining....just saying....
I particularly like the 'Seamastei' on the bracelet. That should have been a give-away. Oh, wait, there is an Omega sign on the side..... #confusednow
The Omega symbol on the dial is crooked, just like the guy who put it together, and everybody that has ever sold it! If the OP knew about genuine Omega watches, he must have known that you don't buy one at a garage sale for $6.00!
Please, oh please, make a video of you destroying the poor excuse for a watch. I am sure that we can start a mini GoFundMe page to pay for $6...
There is an area of New York City's Chinatown famous for shops that sell Chinese-made, um, replica watches. Visiting one of these shops with good-humored guests from out of town doing the tourist thing and wanting such an item, I grabbed a watch, marched up to the proprietor and said, "Rolex is spelled wrong on this watch!" He looked at me in wide-eyed terror and grabbed the watch to inspect it. But I laughed and said "Just kiddin'", and he laughed with me. I usually focus on the dim sum in that neighborhood,, but next time I'm there I'll find a choice piece to post a picture here, since you guys are so helpful and good spirited.
