These are pics of the case back which is plain, the inside of the case back and the movement. thanks for the responses and sorry if Im posting incorrectly.
Yup. Real Omega. Cased by Dennison in England in order to save on import duties back in the days. Keep on posting!
Ok mate. Thanks. I'm not really an ebayer. I was just gonna try a pawn shop. I'm not even a watch wearer, it was a wedding present moons ago. A marriage that that thankfully ended. I thought it was fake but thanks for your help pal.
Not fake, so it holds some value. A couple of hundred pounds perhaps? Perhaps someone will "chime in"? I am really not up to date on the values of these.
Bloody hell. More than I anticipated tho lol. I'm guessing a pawnbroker would realise my lack of knowledge and may have my pants down. Thanks again and apologies if I posted incorrectly. Cheers matey.
Your exceedingly grainy picture of the inside case back shows some stampings which might give information about the metal content of the case. If you can post a better picture of those stampings, there might be a reason to avoid dumping this in a pawn shop. (If the case is karat gold, you, and we need to know.)
What would you search for on ebay in reference to earlier comments??? Would you recommend a reserve or a starting price?
search omega 9 carat watch and denisson cased omega would appear in my opinion all 9carat omega watches were cased in england...prices range froma s low as 450 to as high as 1500 depending on the state and watch model...automatics fetch higher premium
